We Blend Super 8mm with Digital (Yep, You Can Have Both)

Super 8mm isn’t just film; it’s a feeling. The colours are vibrant, the focus is flattering, and the feel is honest. Mixing a fine blend of Kodak Super 8mm film with the clean look of digital footage helps us craft wedding films that are a visual delight. By carefully editing this footage with our signature editing style, we’re able to craft highly emotive and upbeat films, but even more importantly, films that feel honest and authentic. For me, crafting wedding films that are more than just a visual ride but actually mean something to my couples means everything, and using gorgeous Kodak Super 8mm film helps me do just that.

An Intentional Process

Super 8mm film is limited in stock. On a wedding day, I include one 90ft reel of genuine Kodak film, so every shot has to count. It’s not just about capturing every moment but about capturing the right ones. That means your film is thoughtful, curated, and focused on what matters. I also offer additional reels of film for an extra cost. But here’s the kicker: unlike most wedding videographers, we do almost everything in-house, from shooting to scanning, so nothing gets lost in translation, and yes, we’ve given our vintage cameras a major upgrade. By adding ultra-modern cinema lenses to these retro cinema cameras, we’re able to create remarkably gorgeous footage.
