Some stories deserve more than a single day.

Your wedding is one chapter of your story, but it isn’t where your story begins. Chapter One is an opportunity to create moments that simply can’t exist on your wedding day. Together we’ll spend a relaxed afternoon doing something that genuinely feels like you. It could be grabbing a coffee at your favourite café, taking your dog to the beach, exploring the local twilight markets, spending an afternoon in the city, visiting your favourite brewery, heading out for a dive, or simply relaxing together at home. The activity itself isn’t the main focus. What matters is capturing the real moments that make your relationship yours. Whether it’s somewhere that already holds meaning or somewhere you’ve always wanted to explore together, Chapter One gives your wedding film a beginning that exists long before you walk down the aisle.

One of the biggest benefits is that by the time your wedding arrives, we’ve already spent time together. You’ll know exactly how I work, the camera will feel familiar, and most couples naturally arrive feeling more relaxed and confident after sharing this experience with me. Every moment captured during Chapter One is thoughtfully woven throughout your wedding film, adding another layer of personality, context and emotion.
